Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) Department:

  • Production: Hetero’s OSD production requires skilled personnel in various processes, including:
    • Compression: Operating and maintaining compression machinery for tablet manufacturing.
    • Coating: Applying coatings to tablets to improve stability, taste, and appearance.
    • Capsule Filling: Filling capsules with active pharmaceutical ingredients (APIs) and excipients.
    • Granulation: Preparing granules as a crucial step in tablet manufacturing.
  • Warehouse: Managing and maintaining inventory for raw materials, packing materials, and finished goods. This involves tasks such as receiving, storing, and distributing materials efficiently.
  • Quality Control (QC): Hetero’s QC department ensures product quality and compliance with regulations. Roles include:
    • HPLC (High-Performance Liquid Chromatography): Analyzing samples using HPLC for purity and potency determination.
