A Thriving Career in Quality Assurance at BioMatrix

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced individual for the crucial role of Quality Assurance Officer/Executive within our IPQA (In-Process Quality Assurance) department. This is a unique opportunity to contribute directly to maintaining the highest quality standards in our oral solid, liquid, and dry syrup formulations. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the efficacy and safety of our products, safeguarding patient well-being and upholding BioMatrix’s reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

• In-process quality control: Conducting thorough inspections and testing at various stages of the manufacturing process to ensure compliance with established quality standards and GMP guidelines.
• Deviation investigation: Investigating and documenting deviations from established procedures, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Quality documentation review: Reviewing and verifying the accuracy and completeness of all relevant quality documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Quality system maintenance: Contributing to the maintenance and continuous improvement of the company’s quality management system.
• Audits and inspections: Participating in internal and external audits, providing support to regulatory inspections.
• Training and mentorship: Providing training and guidance to junior team members on quality control procedures and GMP principles.
• Data analysis and reporting: Analyzing quality data, preparing reports, and presenting findings to management.
• Active participation in problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives: Contributing to a culture of continuous improvement through proactive identification of potential issues and proposing solutions.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

To excel in this role, the ideal candidate must possess:

• A Bachelor of Science (BSc), Master of Science (MSc), or Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) degree.
• Essential: 2 to 6 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry with a strong focus on Oral Solid Dosage (OSD) formulation.
• A deep understanding of GMP principles and regulatory requirements (WHO-GMP, EU-GMP, ANVISA, UKMHRA, and USFDA).
• Proven experience in conducting in-process quality control, deviation investigations, and CAPA implementation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in using relevant software and quality management systems.
• A proactive, results-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous learning.
